BIOGRAPHY

Tobias Baumgaertel is an accomplished sales and business leader with nearly two decades of experience in the nonwovens industry, specializing in hygiene, wipes, and home textiles. He currently serves as Sales Director for the U.S. at Sandler Nonwoven Corporation, where he leads commercial strategy and customer engagement from the company's base in Perry, Georgia.

Before stepping into his current role in 2023, Tobias served as President of Sandler Nonwoven Corporation for seven years, overseeing its expansion and operations in the North American market. Prior to relocating to the U.S., he held several key leadership roles at Sandler AG in Germany, including Executive Manager and Sales Director of the Home Textiles Products Division. In this capacity, he managed the development and distribution of innovative nonwoven solutions across diverse markets such as furniture, bedding, office furnishings, and wipes.

Tobias began his career at Sandler AG as Sales Manager in the Hygiene and Wipes Product Division, where he built a strong foundation in technical sales, key account management, and market development. His expertise spans across nonwoven technologies for cleaning, disinfecting, and absorbent applications, and he is recognized for his ability to align product innovation with customer needs.

With a global perspective and a deep understanding of both European and U.S. markets, Tobias continues to drive strategic growth and customer success within the nonwovens industry.
