Evolving Nonwoven Product Development for a Sustainable Future
Compostable? Renewable? Plastic Free? With many corporate sustainability goals targeted for as soon as 2035 and potential for regulations that could quickly accelerate the need for sustainable products, the need for viable solutions is greater than ever. Products will need to meet desired requirements while also delivering the performance that our customers and end users expect. As manufacturers service diverse needs, more than a one size fits all approach will be required.
This talk will provide real life examples of nonwoven development using bio-based raw materials. Comparison to today’s incumbent product constructs will demonstrate where the raw materials and products are meeting desired performance as well as areas of need that provide a road map for future innovation.
