Transformative Trends in Wet Wipe Formulations: A Dual Focus on Skin Health and Sustainability

A Skin Care Approach for Wipes: Efficacy Beyond Cleansing

Consumers are moving towards simplicity and transparency as their first choice, while demanding high quality, better performance, and continuous innovation.

The answer lies in multifunctionality and versatility for optimal effectiveness.

Sharon Personal Care has developed a new range of products dedicated to the world of wet wipes, a new effective and versatile platform based on the concept of cleansing+bioactives, where the cleansing action is balanced with beneficial effects of actives for skin health, such as anti-aging, moisturizing, soothing, and barrier protection.

Today, the real innovation is in providing formulations that are not only essential but also guarantee efficacy that can be felt by the consumer.

Whereas even recently, cleansing performance (e.g. make-up removal) was the key in developing a successful product, today consumer expectations are based on what can be delivered to the skin during cleansing, taking wet wipe application to the next level of "skinification" with the ability to deliver active ingredients to the skin in concentrations comparable to skincare products.

Focusing on the importance of the skin barrier functions, novel platforms are proposed for the development of active lotions for wet wipes addressing a wide variety of skin needs to have a personal and distinctive approach, without forgetting to be economically affordable.

Products platform and studies will be presented.
