BIOGRAPHY
Rose Casanova-Gugliotta (just Rose) is passionate about understanding lifestyle trends and curating fragrances that support brand identity and signature experiences. Naturally curious, she thrives on learning and sharing knowledge, bringing a strategic and technical approach to fragrance development.As Senior Director of Fragrance Evaluation at Bell Flavors & Fragrances, Rose leads olfactive strategies for global and regional clients, shaping fragrance innovation across beauty, personal care, home care and fine fragrance. With a background in formulation chemistry, she combines creativity with technical expertise to craft memorable scent experiences.
Rose’s career spans over two decades in the fragrance industry, including leadership roles at L’Oréal USA, Alberto Culver and global fragrance suppliers. She has managed, mentored, and coached fragrance professionals, driving product innovation while fostering talent.
She holds a Master’s in Chemistry from Northwestern University and a Bachelor’s in Biochemistry from Hofstra University.
